The fourth season of The Voice began with the Blind Auditions on March 25, 2013 and aired a total of 28 episodes, down from the 32 episode third season. Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera opted to take this season off and were replaced with recording superstars Shakira and Usher. Unfortunately for the new coaches, Blake Shelton continued to blaze his path to victory, keeping all of his final three artists around until the Top 5 Eliminations and securing his third win in a row with Danielle Bradbery. The Swon Brothers, also of Team Blake, finished third. New coach Usher refused to go down with out a fight, however, and took his sole remaining artist, Michelle Chamuel, all the way to second place.

As much as the "There were other contestants besides Michelle Chamuel" category makes me laugh, I reeeeally loved Josiah. I thought he was an amazing singer and seemed like a great guy; I'm excited for all of his new music and I've really been digging his Live Sessions!

I was so mad when Judith and Sarah were eliminated before The Swon Brothers, Holly Tucker, Amber and even Danielle. Like, WTF??
Ps: Sorry if you guys like any of these.

Even though the poll was named (Second) Favorite Season Four Contestant, I could not help but voting for Michelle. I mean, if I have 10 free hours, I would not spend 8 hours for the favorite (MC, obviously!) and 2 hours for the other second favorite. Apparently, I have been replaying her songs non-stop since March. I know I was kind of biased here heheheh.
(If I was not biased, and the first option in the vote was not that hilarious (winning at caption!), I would go for Josiah!)

I went with: "There were other contestants besides Michelle Chamuel?" Simply because, she was the only one I really connected to.
I liked The Swon Brothers, Danielle, Josiah and Judith as well, but Michelle always stood out more.

Swons were talented, but I have NO idea how they made it past knockout rounds. They're more karaoke guitar hero talented than voice talented. I think Judith should have picked a way better song though, I mean really, Will.I.Am?

I loved how happy Michelle seemed for Danielle when she won! She literally jumped up smiling and started clapping. And I think I saw her in the background hugging Danielle's mom? michelle really is such a good person!!! think Danielle really was good. Michelle is older, and Sooo much more experienced and is therefore a better performer/entertainer. Michelle has also been educated in music from a young age and majored in performance technology (right?) in college so she is a lot more knowledgable than most of the ither contestants and it shows i think. If Michelle hasn't been on this season I probably would have voted for Danielle. I also love that they both seemed like genuinely nice girls. We need more role models like the two of them on TV and the industry!! I hope Danielle and Michelle keep in touch. Michelle would be a good person for her to go to for advice and such related to the industry. Can't wait to see what they come out with next

When they didn't call Michelle's name i seriously started crying. I voted for her since day one of the show. She is such an amazing person and was the winner in my eyes. But she is for sure gonna get far in this industry!

Not only did we see in the background hugging Danielle's mom, but according to multiple sources (and if you look reeeeally closely at a couple shots), right after she grabbed Danielle into the biggest hug ever, she hopped across the stage, shouting, with her hands up over her head clapping and leading the audience in applause. I wish the cameras wouldn't have cut away so fast because that would've been such an awesome moment to see. I mean, you can see it, but only for a hot second.

We all have to agree that we were pretty shocked when Amber didn't make it. I will be honest I was hoping she would beat the Swon Brothers. Amber was awesome but Michelle had my votes no matter what.

I actually wasn't disappointed at all when Michelle didn't win. I feel like she will have more freedom to do what she wants and produce better music. I mean Danielle already has a single out...... the voice hasn't even been over for a month.

While it would've have been awesome if Michelle won, I feel like all she really needed was the recognition. Now that she has that, she can just continue with what she was planning. (Danielle has a single?)

I was hoping for an Amber vs Michelle finale because Amber really did grow in that show. She was singing country songs at first then rock songs and I felt like she became a versatile singer after that.

It scared the hell out of me when Amber reached the Top 10 before the finale because she's really good. I would've been okay if the one who beat Michelle was someone who showed progress, not someone who constantly sung one genre.

I don't really like to bag on the other contestants, but I just really didn't want Danielle to win. Even in an interview after the finale performances she said she was really confident in how she did and how things were going to turn out. The tone in which she said that was basically implying that she knew she was going to win. Also, I feel like, although she did have a really good voice, there was nothing unique about it and she got so much praise just because she was so young and a baby. There was just nothing exciting about her winning, you know? I feel like everyone just kind of knew. Even though I love Michelle more than I will ever love another contestant on The Voice and I think she has the most amazing voice and personality, I knew Danielle was going to win after her battle round.

I wasn't even going to watch this season after what happened last time , yes terry was my favorite and i was kinda sad that he didn't win but it was alright i forgot about about it after 2 days . So i randomly thought of watching voice and i guess the first episode of this season i watched was EP.19 , i was like wow everyone is good but after watching Michelle's Just Give Me a Reason i was like wow i have to check her out and then downloaded all the episode from 1 to 19 . I was crying like anything when i found about the results..... i still haven't watched the finale . I was never attached to any voice/other show's contestant as much as i am to Michelle so it still hurts when i think about the voice finale .

This is my take on Ms. Danielle. I'm going to use a metaphor here: ( A Lump of Clay) She's really is too young....but, has a natural God given talent. She really can sing. Now, being young, no experience in the biz, has a great personality, nice to look at.....loves country music.. means the music industries dream catch. Mold that into what they want and sing what they want. Which is EXACTLY what Michelle DID NOT WANT. I believe she signed with Machine Records here in Nashville. Which is sort of Ironic for a record company name.......Machine Records...... Well.....they have there their hands full. Did you notice her parents are divorced. Both remarried and both sets were with her the entire show. I think that's great for support on her part...as it should be with families. But, behind closed doors at Machine Records..........I bet it's a nightmare.

Yeah, there's probably a lot of disagreement in that dynamic.
What did people think of Danielle's single? I liked it, but the lyrics are too mature for her (I guess they're continuing that from the show).

OMG. I just spent 40 minutes typing this incredible piece of awesomeness.....went to post it. gone.
here we go again. Not going to be the same....
OK..... This season was a PIVOTAL moment on everything. And Michelle was that person who did that. This was the only season without 2 of its original judges. Shakria, who I have always loved. And Usher...
When I heard that Usher was going to be on the show, I rolled my eyes. I have always known about what he said on homosexuality in the past. And I'm sure Michelle wasn't an idiot for picking him. I think she knew.
She did say that her GUT was pointing toward USHER, so she picked him. I find that very interesting.
There is something about this woman. She has made everyone change. Minds, views..........everything that I know of I have wished for to happen. And it all came to a pivotal point on this show. Because of her...a lot of people changed. Hopefully I am saying this right. I really am trying to remember what the hell I wrote. This is so aggravating.
Well... Call me crazy.....and I'm sure someone reading this will........LOL.......People who have strived to make a difference in the world.......JFK, MLKJ, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and all others, who I can't remember right now, who have died. She is all of them brought back to life in a very small body. Like I said......something about her. God does work in some mysterious ways. Not Crazy?
Another friend of mine told me something about her last week, it went something like this. "There are Angels on this planet masquerading as humans. Some do small things and others do huge things. That girl you talk about all the time.......She is one of them. She did something and people noticed. And it is going to continue ."
Well.....that's all I can remember. It's not the Awesome posting I did and lost.....but, it's good enough.

Way not crazy. Actually you're pretty spot on with everything. One thing I've learned from Michelle is not to judge. I know she went with gut reaction, but if Usher's previous comments were really that important to her opinion of him, she would've gone with Adam. I feel like sometimes people make offhanded comments and since everything is forever in the media, we know that he said what he did at that point of time. But now who knows? And at the time of The Voice we don't know how he felt. And I kind of agree with the angel thing. Michelle has affected so many people from all walks of life and experiences and has really taught all of us to not judge a book by its cover (I mean who would've thought that that nerdy girl who walked onto that stage was gonna bring the house down?) And to really respect each other. I mean the frandom is really a testament to that. So I think you're exactly right in your ideas. Because she's making a change, but in a less "in your face" way that everyone can understand.

I felt like she wasn't passionate about singing, and I don't get what is so great about her voice. She sounds like a lot of other country singers. My opinion, sorry if you disagree. However Michelle has a beautiful voice, and you could tell she was passionate and a humble person. Danielle seemed to kind of have a big head...
