The second season of NBC's The Voice premiered on February 5, 2012 and aired for 21 episodes as opposed to the 12 episode freshman season. The second season saw the beginning of Blake Shelton's winning streak when R&B artist Jermaine Paul took the title. Finishing in second place was Cee-Lo Green's Juliet Sims. Also in the Top 4 were classical vocalist Chris Mann of Team Christina and former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca from Team Adam.

Does anyone remember Pip? He made it to the quarter finals (the system was so different back then, it's strange now) but his audition, "The House of the Rising Sun," was AMAZING. I remember it was the first single from The Voice I bought on iTunes!

I really loved Pip and Chris Mann. I was so sad when Pip was eliminated, but I'm so glad that Chris made it to the finals. If anyone hasn't listened to their new songs, you should go do that right now! Seriously, go!

He did an AMAZING job. I kind of stopped watching after he was eliminated because I was a fan of his; much like I would have stopped watching The Voice if Michelle had been eliminated during the Top 12 or 10 or so on. #noshame

Pip's version of HOTRS is actually Haley Reinhart's version and both are SOO good (:
PS. My favorite this season was Juliet Simms, she's amazing.

Fun fact because I'm looking into Pip because he's really good hahaha, both he and Michelle performed Keane's Somewhere Only We Know on The Voice but Pip got eliminated right after that song

I remember Pip! He was really good and fun. Plus, I like bow ties. Bow ties are cool.
I didn't really have a clear favorite this season. I rooted for Juliet because I knew her from Automatic Loveletter, but I wasn't really blown away by anything she did on the show. Tony Lucca was hit or miss for me, too. I didn't care for Chris Mann, either. Man, it's a wonder I even came back for Season Three.

I wasn't used to hearing classical singers, but he blew me away. He sang both classic and modern songs and made them all so good, which was really cool. He put out an album some months back, and it's amazing. Some of the songs are original and some are covers, and they are all fantastic. Also, he has a Christmas EP; it's wonderful and so beautiful. <3

Did anyone else find RaeLynn really annoying, or was that just me?

Before Season 4 came along, Season 2 was my favorite season of The Voice. I loved so many of the artists. My Top 3 favorites would have had to been Juliet Sims, James Massone, and of course Pip.

My favorite was definitely Juliet Simms. How did she not win? Honestly, she was the favorite. Jermaine came out of nowhere, lol. Now that I think about it though, I'm glad Juliet Simms got second place because they changed the record label in season 3. For the first two seasons, the record label screwed both of their artists over (Javier Colon and Jermaine Paul).

I was so sad when Juliet got second place . However I was devastated when the same thing happen to Michelle. Finding the Frans made it a lot easier to deal with. Plus the excitment of new music on the way. I sort of like Wild Child by Juliet Simms but prefer her old songs from ALL. Story Of My Life is my favorite.
