This one is so hard for me, I love them all. Haha..
I think "Call Your Girlfriend" is my favorite one. I think that studio is what made me love her.

If I have to choose one, it'll be Clarity. Her emotions in that song is amazing. She made an upbeat song emotional, which still amazed me everytime i think about it. Grenade, Just Give Me a Reason, Call Your Girlfriend, Somwhere Only We Know and Why are some of my favorites.

I was listening to the studio recording of Raise Your Glass last night and halfway through she goes "Aw man, my water bottle's empty" Does anyone know what that's all about? It's funny though!

I was listening to the studio recording of Raise Your Glass last night and halfway through she goes "Aw man, my water bottle's empty" Does anyone know what that's all about? It's funny though! That actually goes way back to the My Dear Disco/Ella Riot days. Michelle loves her water. "Drink Water" is like, her life motto. On twitter, during the knockout rounds or possibly the Team Blake/Team Shakira Top 16 performances, she was live tweeting watching the performances talking about her water bottle's reaction. There are other mentions of it out there, too. It's really quite hilarious. team4eyes and I are always on the lookout for Water Bottle cameos in photos and such. I think "Clarity" might be my favorite studio recording from the show. She adds a lot of emotional depth that's absent in the original, plus the more stripped down instrumentation makes it much more of a vocal showcase than your typical EDM. I love "Call Your Girlfriend" and "Grenade," too. She also does some awesome stuff with the two Pink songs that make them stand out from the originals, which is awesome because Pink's a hard one to cover well. I love the new vocal runs she adds to "Raise Your Glass" (and I will never not love a shout out to Water Bottle) and by singing "Just Give Me a Reason" solo (originally a duet), it completely changes the meaning of the song in a really cool way. Whereas the original is about a woman having a rough time in a relation and her partner not understanding why, Michelle's version is about a woman having a tough time in a relationship or in life and HER not understanding why. It's a really cool shift in the dynamic of the song.

Clarity is definitely my favorite. Her voice is outstanding, I could listen to that song (well, all the songs) on replay for hours
