Peronally I loved Usher (Not just because MC was Team Usher hahaha) and Shakira was so funny. I really don't like Cee-Lo or Christina very much and I think Christina is super rude. What about you? Which pair do you like more?

USHER AND SHAKIRA! I was a little skeptical when they first announced that Usher and Shakira were going to be the new judges because (even though I loved him) I had seen Usher mentor people on American Idol and it was just ehhh and I didn't really know that much about Shakira. After the first episode of the fourth season I was like oh my gosh so much better. Now I am actually really disappointed that Christina and Cee Lo are coming back. I agree with Christina being rude, it's like you could never really impress her.

Def Usher and Shakira! I mean, I've watched seasons before with Cee Lo and Xtina, but I really connected with only Adam and Blake because they had these wonderful personalities. Now, with Usher and Shakira in the mix, they just had this incredible dynamic that was fun to watch and also felt a lot more real. (Plus, Xtina was off-putting to me; she seemed really...I don't know, harsh?) Plus, I'm a huge fan of both Usher and Shakira - more than either Cee Lo and Xtina. I might not even watch season 5 - I might wait until Usher and Shakira come back for season 6!

I feel like I might not watch as intensely as this season mainly because I did not think Christina was a great coach. She would try to make the performances and comments about her a lot and try to show off, which isn't what The Voice is about. I'll definitely miss Shakira as a coach ):

Yeah definitely Usher and Shakira (I love her she is so nice). They did a fantastic job this season. Usher is an amazing coach (all his methods were great) and he takes it seriously. Shakira genuinely cares for her team and the people on the show. She also focuses on her teams character as well as their voice which is awesome. Cee-Lo wasn't really that great of a coach to me and Christina was great when the show first started but then she got mean.

I've watched season 2, season 3, and season 4.. and I think I prefer Usher and Shakira over CeeLo and Christina. However, I think CeeLo and Usher are both good coaches (even though CeeLo annoys me whenever he's around girls). In terms of coaching, I think Shakira and Christina are pretty much the same, to be honest. Shakira's song choices for Sasha Allen were not very, well, I didn't think they were right. And I don't know if you guys remember this, but I remember Sasha was in the Sprint Skybox and she was like telling her fans, "Please help me with my song choicse! I would love to hear your recommendations." However, I do think Christina is often rude. But I didn't like that this season, nobody gave criticism. I didn't like Christina giving random criticism for no reason, but I feel like The Voice has always been a show where you judge AND coach. I feel like Christina gives random criticism for no reason, but Shakira is WAY too down-to-earth (which is a good thing in a lot of ways, she is SO sweet and nice ). |
