Is it totally cliche that I loved all of them? I mean, Clarity and Just Give Me a Reason and True Colors (made me cry) and Grenade were all so amazing though, because you could feel passion radiating from her, even through a tv screen. I love when she does slower/rocker/emotional songs.

I don't even think I can pick a favorite! I loved Why because of the mirrors and her huge smile after she says "and this is what they represent," but I also love Raise You Glass (no explanation needed) and I Knew You Were Trouble. She can literally preform any cover and make it amazing.

1) Somewhere Only We Know(you have no idea how excited I was when I found out she was going to sing my favorite song) 2) Clarity(Killer) 3) Raise Your Glass (BADARSE) 4) True Colors 5) Call Your Girlfriend 2-5 are in random order. These are absolutely my favorite performances Michelle has done.

Well, I loved all of her performances, but my absolute favorites would have to be Grenade, Call Your Girlfriend, True Colors, and Clarity.

Grenade, that's the one that got me hooked. Clarity and I Knew You Were Trouble are close seconds.

I loved it when she did "Call Your Girlfriend". So VERY Happy that song was on the Voice. She did it so well and was looking her best. And if I heard it right....her intentions on doing that song was for it to be more recognized........KUDO's for that.
The other was Clarity. One of my favorite songs by her and the original artist. What an awesome song...... and the voice really got her exceptionally well on camera at the high points. Breath taking.

My most favorite Voice performance Michelle did would have been Titanium if only it had been aired...

I have a few favorites for different reasons.
Call Your Girlfriend because I felt like she had the most fun during that performance and had some real dance moves that were pretty sweet. I also loved both performances of Trouble because she had some awesome rocktude. Somewhere Only We Know and True Colors were such beautiful vocal performances. Just Give Me a Reason was really awesome especially the phrase that made Usher stand and cheer.
So I have like what... 5 favorites? (6 if you count the Trouble performances as two separate ones.)

I love every single one of her performances. Since the blind audition, battle round, live performance, Michelle Rock all of her duets especially the very last song with Usher One was just mind blowing spectacularly AmazeBalls and I'm going to rhyme it with I love them all.

Call Your Girlfriend. Or whenever she does that wiggly fingers thing lol

Lol yeah the wiggly finger thing is funny. I wonder if its functional like the squatting. Also, someone on another board was saying the squatting thing may actually be dangerous for her diaphragm and she should be able to hit the high notes without doing that because it could cause damage. Does anyone know if that's true? She is the only singer I've seen on The Voice doing that. I hope it's not bad for her!

I was just rewatching all of her voice preformaces (my daily routine?) and realized how much I love her performance of Why. She has amazing stage presence and her emotion shown near the end and at the very last note of the song literally give me goosebumps

I don't think that's true. A lot of singers bend their knees for the support, which I imagine is the same thing. My guess is a lot of singers who squat are chesting and not actually using their diaphragm. (which would hurt them) Michelle actually is. Haley Reinhart bends too, and her mother trained her. (She doesn't squat obviously..but she's doing the same thing to her stomach.)
I would guess the wiggly fingers thing is just a tick. Sort of like how Christina taps on her mic. (Jessica Sanchez taps too.)
I've seen Michelle sing the high notes without doing it too. So I wonder if it's also a clutch as much as it is for support.

not a performance but is it just me or does anyone else love the gif/vine when Michelle just says "vote?" on the episode when she did I Knew You Were Trouble?

Someone left this epic comment on the video of her Defining Moment: I knew You Were Trouble performance:
"I heard Taylor Swift did a cover of this song" because really, Michelle infused so much emotion into it, you would think she had originally written the words.

Aww, I just watched the knockout rounds and Michelle was so nervous during the judge's comments. I felt so bad for her! But luckily I knew watching how far she would end up going. And the way she cracked up at Blake's lottery comment was hilarious- but until then she was shaking basically.

I noticed she first used it in the blind auditions. In the first line of the song she sound really nervous,in the 2nd line, she wiggle her fingers as if to conduct herself and regain control. She tends to wiggle her fingers at her lower register and falsetto.

Just wondering...There was a performance after which Blake was comment about how good Michelle was and said something like, "to my team backstage, do that!" Anyone remember which song it was?
