I like to hear about your thoughts on the All I Want Album. Have you ever heard an album like this one before? I mean true to her name The Reverb Junkie first solo album is full of reverberations-eyoh,atatatatat,thiefthief,thingthingthing,ohahohahohah,wherewhere etc. And yet inspite of its abundant use of effects, the album sounds tranquil that sometimes I fall asleep listening to it, and not because it is boring but because it is soothing. Everything sounds like a Gregorian chant meets Sister Act. Selfish is more like TRJ singing to herself than to the selfish girl, it self- regretful than angry.More Than Enough could be a soundtrack to a coming-of-age movie. Worth sounds like Michelle Chamuel than TRJ [they reflect on each other of course, like 2 facets on the same diamond,(i have to repeat this because it's my most retweeted tweet)]. Tear Down Walls is my favorite in this album because i have the best of both worlds,so to speak, it's a fusion of Michelle Chamuel and TRJ.

No. I have never heard an album like this before. You also asked for thoughts.........I can't stand it. It is monotonous, both within any given song (repeat, repeat, repeat seems an excuse for lack of lyrics) and between the songs. They all sound so similar. I don't like the synthetic male voice and most of the synthetic sounds. I don't like how high pitched most of the sounds are or how they sound outer space-like or to me, often they sound like insects. I like real voices, real instruments. I don't like the abrupt interruption of a stream of music with these synthetic sounds, either. Something just gets easy to listen to or follow and is abruptly interrupted by some strange sound. In other words, abrupt with lack of transition. My whole opinion is that this is a poor excuse for an album and feel she just put a bunch of similar songs together to meet a dealine; the start of the next Voice season, before she becomes irrelevant. I love Michelle Chamuel as a singer, she has lots of talent, was hoping for something I would enjoy, was hoping she would be on tour. As long as she's happy, I guess that is what counts for her. You asked what I thought of this album, and I'm being honest. Extremely disappointed!

I have never heard a CD like this before. I loved it. It is nice to hear something different sometimes. My favorite tracks are Eyoh ( including the uncut version) and Want Me Now. I am still so impressed that she did all the vocals on this album. This women is extremely talented. I heard that she is coming out with more music on the pop side under Michelle Chamuel. I can't wait to hear it. I am now a proud fran of both sides ( the reverb junkie and Michelle Chamuel.)
