While we're on the Usher songs, maybe she can try "U got it bad"! And do the moves too? Haha. That'll be perfect. That is such a great idea too! Seriously though, any Usher song would be perfect. He just has so many good ones and incorporating the dance moves..... I have no words.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Might be a little out of her comfort zone. I would LOVE to hear her take on Mirrors though! Good one. As much as we would all enjoy "Same Girl", I think Michelle would be so so so so so so so uncomfortable. I don't see her really agreeing to any Usher songs considering how suggestive most of them are.... we can dream though Hmmm.. I can agree that she might be uncomfortable with most of his songs but Same Girl doesn't have lyrics as suggestive as his other songs. I mean, the only weird part might be "Man I thought her body was calling when she said, "I want you." but even then, thats Usher's part so she wouldn't be singing it, lol.

Well, I think the whole first verse might be uncomfortable, for a variety of reasons. There's a lot of "describing the girl" in ways in which I doubt Michelle ever describes girls. Like I said, I can see it being really cute..but at the same time Michelle would be blushing. "You got it bad" might be a good compromise.

I can't really see Michelle singing any Usher songs just because while it's clear she respects his talent, they don't have the same style of music. Buuuut she could surprise us! And yeah, Michelle's introverted, but that doesn't mean she's necessarily prudish! No one knows since no one's that close to her - all we know is that she likes spending time alone but maybe she's got a wicked sense of humor around friends!

You Got It Bad would be such a good cover .. and in Same Girl, R. Kelly only describes like what she does (for ex: what she drives) and stuff. Except the part where he says "Man she's so fine. She stands about 5'4", Coca Cola, red bone" so yeah i'd understand that part being weird even though it's not very descriptive anyways... but the rest feels like comedy to me or just like a regular convo.

I agree with the above comments, about the humor behind it. In whatever alternate universe this actually happened, I imagine it would definitely be very playful/tongue in cheek, just like the original is. In which case, even when the lyrics do get a little suggestive I feel like it's inherently less awkward/uncomfortable given the humorous tone. Plus, like @team4eyes said, who knows maybe Michelle is more playful than we think. Anyway, I was listening to Jar of Hearts earlier and immediately was like WOW I wish Michelle would sing this. And I see FYMC had the same thought!

Oh wow, I forgot to put this one. I really wanted to hear her sing "Believe" but more in the Adam Lambert/slowed down, style. Like, the whole competition I was hoping she'd sing that.
edit: I don't think Same Girl is an issue because it's suggestive. I'm the one who suggested "Nice and Slow." I think it might make her uncomfortable because that's a dynamic that she seems to like to keep private. And I also think the whole "red bone" line might be odd coming from Michelle.
I think, say "Trading Places" or "Dive" (If that song is about what I think it's about. And it's Usher, so I'm going with..yes it is.) etc might make her a little uncomfortable.. But that's not commenting on Michelle's personality, Usher has songs that I think a lot (maybe most) performers might blush/feel uncomfortable while singing.

If she did a cover to any Lady GaGa song. I was reading an interview with her in it once and she said she is a pretty big fan. Any song covered by her would be wonderful.

She has done a cover of Just Dance with Poker face at the end. It's really good.
Her voice actually reminds me of like a Gaga/Cyndi Lauper mix. Plus something else, that I can't name. I think she's got a great pop voice. It's distinctive and yet really pleasant.

Although I love her original songs the most I would love to hear her cover the song Girl On Fire. I would love to hear her both sing and do the rap parts to that song. I like Alicia Keys but I know Michelle would do it justice. Other songs would be All I really want by Alanis Morissette and Christina Perri's song Bluebird. I could just imagine all the different ways I could mix up playlists!!

That would be so mmmmmmmmmmmm like I don't even have any words to describe how I would feel if she sang "Nice and Slow". OH MY GOSH or what about "Love In This Club", I would literally be hyperventilating. Okay, I never considered this but Nice and Slow is SUCH a good idea. I would die if she did that. Also, I'm sure at least one other person had to have this thought... when she made it to the finale which we of course knew would include a duet with Usher, even though I knew it would never, ever in a million years happen, part of me couldn't help but wish that they did Usher and R.Kelly's Same Girl. Would be HILARIOUS. Joey Dosik (formerly of Ella Riot/MDD) even tweeted the idea to her the night her audition aired and she favorited it (also, Theo retweeted). I soooo wish that would happen. That would have been the most hilarious and greatest thing that happened in the history of everything, EVER.
