Mine are Will Me Meet Again, All I Think of is Love, and Tear Down Walls (which I sometimes refer to as the dolphin song?? That's probably weird, but the beginning totally gives me that vibe.)

I really Like "Part of You" and "You Don't Know". Both those songs really hit home for me. I know I'm going to sound like a granny here....But, If I had heard those songs when I was 20 I probably would have cried. I was so freakin lost then. I hear them now and just shake my head. I felt that same way then, but did not know how to put it in words. She did it so well. Those songs make the Indigo Girls songs "Ghost" or "Least Complicated" less relatable.

My favorite Reverb Junkie song is You don't know and Tear down walls. I love both version of You don't know by Michelle but her unedited live version is DOPE as hell. I just love her Voice is so raw and so damn good.

Mine would be It's Just The Way I Feel. Her voice in that song is just too emotional. It makes me cry and it hits the heart so bad. It makes me wonder how in the hell did she write the song and what could she possibly been going through to be able to write such an emotional one. And it just reminds me so much of all the pain I've gone through. I'm 24 so I've been through pretty bad stuff.
Coming in close would be Tear Down Walls because... Emotions emotions emotions.
Oh, and Let Me Go. I posted the lyrics of that song in my tumblr because it's just amazing.

I just discovered It's Just the Way I Feel! Her songs are so relatable. Does she write all of them or are some of them by the bands she's collaborating with? I have been confused about how the collaborations work.

I have been confused about how the collaborations work. As far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong), she writes them except World Divided in the s/he album. The tune comes from the one she collaborated with.

If I have to pick just one, it will be Tear Down Walls. It's a cacophony of sounds to begin with, I hear wind chimes, hooting trains and owls at the beginning. She made it sound so good together, it's f**kin brilliant (sorry I got carried away). And towards the end two Michelles singing,I wonder how she is going to sing it live on stage.

All my friends that I have showed Michelle to dislike it and think it is weird because of the noises in the beginning, but I agree with you that it sounds amazing!

Here's To You is so beautiful. And she makes it so much more powerful by using her own name in it. So personal.
It makes you realize that most of her songs are likely based on true experiences.

I'm becoming obsessed with Here's To You. I've always liked it, but when I actually saw the lyrics printed out it made me fall more in love!

I'm listening to Is She Gonna right now. I think she actually could be talking about herself and The Voice! She auditioned three times--way to not give up on her dreams!

Adding another ..... YET ANOTHER - Hey, Hey is freakin awesome. Love the retro groove and deep base. Is this a cover? Or did she write this. I don't care...... I can't stop listening to it. Only thing......would love to buy it. I can only find it on youtube. I was out doing my daily rounds and had it playing on my droid and I had this thought......wouldn't it have been awesome as part of the soundtrack for Pulp Fiction? Well.....that would have been IMPOSSIBLE.....MC was still in school. Or as MC would say ( She don't think so! )

So not to post three times on this or anything, but the other day when I was driving I was listening to Growing Away and actually listened to the lyrics more intently that when I first heard the song, and wow it hit me hard how much I relate to that song. It's amazing how she can transform any emotion into such a beautiful piece. It's literally exactly how I feel put into words that I can't come up with on my own.

Her collaborations with Odd Year are killer. It's Just the Way I Feel and Might Not Happen put me in this trance that kind of makes me sad yet happy? I don't know. It's kind of weird haha.

I'm listening to Is She Gonna right now. I think she actually could be talking about herself and The Voice! She auditioned three times--way to not give up on her dreams! I agree, this could be seen as a very literal song about her recent experience. love the phrase "baby girl gotta rise up" On the Bandcamp version, the last line isn't listed on the lyrics. I think it is "Now that you're up there, tell me how does it feel?" Is that what you hear?
